Volumit is a Design, Prototyping, and Production company established by a group of passionate people with extensive experience in creating innovative tangible and digital products.  Our competence stands on three main pillars: 1. 3D Design and Rendering, 2. Product Design and Interior Design, 3. Prototyping and Production.

We utilize advanced 3D modeling methodology and software to design our products, as well as 3D Printing, 3D Scanning, and Reverse Engineering combined with Molding and Casting techniques to build our prototypes and products.

OUR STORY…

Our urge to create new and tangible products goes way beyond this company’s history. In 2008, a group of engineers and architects, aside from 3D design and interior design projects, started utilizing molding and casting techniques to produce uniquely designed small resin and metal scaled cultural heritage models, whereby we aimed to promote our cultural heritage as well. After a very successful launch back then, due to the lack of copyright law in Kosovo and some unfair traders, our entire line of products was sent to China to be replicated without our consent.

After this arbitrary market experience, in 2011, we decided to switch our strategy to non-replicable, custom-made products, which required highly developed analytic, 3d design, and prototyping skillset to be produced. Since then, we started utilizing 3D printing technology as our primary tool to create prototypes, combined with molding and casting techniques and production-grade finishes.

In 2019, we established Volumit LLC as an umbrella company for all our diverse skillsets developed through years of experience in digital and physical product design, interior design, prototyping, and production.

We have designed passionately ever since and continue to grow day by day!
